Shade is a 3d modeler app for Mac, so I guess this is a special version of that with support for the saturn quads.

No, I mean, either there are like 10 floppies not shown on the pictures, or that application was really really really small for a 3d modeler.

It may have just been a plug-in for Shade.

As in, in order to use this you needed to already own the full version. This could have just added support for the Saturn quads to the main program.
