Straight from the manual:
I sent a mail to the website owner about his disc.
For the stand alone. Very nice.
unclejun- I BELIEVE i have the second type cart as it seems to have a rom- I've been behind in getting a scsi card and spare pc system to toss it all together with.. i can't tell when looking at the manual, but should I be seeing anything on the screen "with a valid playstation disc" in it?
The system shows no video or audio, but sounds like it's going through the full disc reading cycle...
Maybe i do need the disc, or maybe its supposed to be black until the software contacts it...
Well... 1st gen Action Replay cartridges for the retail Playstation would only bring the user interface after the Playstation logo was shown.
Perhaps this device boots in the same way and it requires that an valid Playstation disc be present at least until after the said logo was shown ?
Edit: If you got a black screen and the thing sits there as if it's waiting for something, it must be waiting for the PC side, indeed.

Ok, so other people DO have the carts and have tried getting this running before?
