    Missing lines on Gameboy

So I have a Gameboy sitting here, with a screen that has the missing line problem. I've opened it up to put a bit of pressure on the ribbon cable going to the LCD to see if that would help, but it needs a fair bit before it starts making the missing lines show up.

Does anyone have any experience fixing these? What would be the best way to go about repairing it (if I can)?

Also, here's a picture to show what I'm dealing with.

    Thanks!

No dice. I just ended up getting a cheap GB that had a working screen and swapped it in.
