    Everdrive cover design

So, some of us lucky buggers will be getting an Everdrive cart soon but it will be without a case. Getting a new case isn't a problem though. I already have a few 100 yen JPN MD games bought from Hard Off ready for gutting. But what about the label? Well, that's where this thread comes in. Let's make a few designs for others to print out. I'm going to make one for Japanese MD carts but a few other designs would be nice.

Hmm good idea.Thing is, will it fit in a case? The board seems too big to fit.

I think it'll fit in a normal megadrive case w/ a slot for the SD card cut out. At least Krikzzz page says so.

I used this one as a reference (only made it Everdrive, duh) http://eatonclublambs.com/images/ove..._logo_ctqx.jpg and put it on the cartridge. Might upload a picture, it came out pretty nice, considering I suck big time drawing anything :P

I quite like these ones which were used for one of Krikzz's previous efforts.

Not the best shots I could get but anyway. I might color it , but I don't know which color I should pick.

Quick and nasty MS Paint job based upon Krikzz's old designs.

here we go with a first and far from complete version of my cartridge cover.

The colours still need to be fixed and logos added and so on.

yakumo, warp the design so that on the curving part on a md cart, the hole for the sd slot matches the cart slot on the graphic?

I had the exact same thought! but the SD slot on the Everdrive is on the left, and the cartridge slot on the sticker would be on the right. You can see the SD slot position in relation to the casing in this sega-16 thread:-

Yeah, I had the idea of using the cartridge slot for the SD but as link83 pointed out the SD slot is to far over. I'll add another card slot graphic just for the SD. Like I said, it's far from finished. I still need to bump out the actual console image to give it a more 3D look live the 16 bit text.

Here you go. One Everdrive MD cartridge cover! The red areas are where you need to cut holes for the SD card and button. The ;abel is designed for use on Japanese Mega Drive carts and fits perfectly.

I finally finished my Ever Drive case today. Looks very nice if I do say so my self :)

Need to buy a new cheap Sunsoft game though for the case. The one I'm using is a bit damaged and dirty.

As you can see, the SD card is held nice and sung. No worrys about it sliding all over the case.

    Thats so awesome Yakumo!

Anyone care for a PAL cover/label? I might give it a try as soon as I reinstall PS, I doubt I can make it half as cool as Yakumo's xD
    Those sunsoft cases rock!

The Cartridge lable I made should fit on a PAL cart. You may need to trim the top a little though.

I was talking about layout, not just the size!

I would love to create a full PAL insert, preferably one with the newer blue-spine layout
