    2 very random questions :)

    1) do you give away your car to anybody? ?_?

    2) what are those 2 games about?

You know how I'm always going on about how shit the Japanese are at driving? Well, there you go. A prick in my company needed to get somewhere for an urgent meeting so I said he could use my car if he was very careful plus I asked if he could drive a manual to which he said yes. Could he hell drive a manual. I should take it out of his ass with a very good beating but I'd probably loose my job then. The idiot will pay for the damages but not for a few months. I can't wait that long so I'll have to pay to cover them for now.

PS: My wife can actually drive. Her car is also a manual transmission.

any real car have MT. And you can't say that you can drive and enjoy the feeling of it without MT.

Aargh, don't tempt me! I shouldn't be spending! :noooo:

Still, at least they're a lot more reasonably priced than the sealed copies on eBay

Yeah, thank Yakumo for ripping them open to make them affordable

Sadly, I don't have that kind of change lying around right now.

Sorry to hear about your car, that really blows :(

Did the tool just strip the syncros out of it or what? If you have a bit of know how you can drive decent so he must have had NO idea what he was doing. Good luck getting it fixed and good luck with your auctions.

Not anymore. Today's computers can shift a lot more precisely than any human, offering both performance and gas usage advantages over manuals.

Manuals are nostalgic and fun to drive, but there is no distinct technical advantage to a manual over an automatic.

That all depends on exactly how you are trying to use the car. Most hard core drag racers would agree with you, but the road racing guys wouldn't be caught dead with an auto (well, they would probably be dead last).

Tell me that when your gearbox (transmission) goes. Manuals are usually waay cheaper!

Yeah, we've got one of those.

That being said, someone buy his games. Or alternately, don't so that he is forced to stay at his current awesomeness-level.
