New server is ordered, will be online tomorrow.
I will be testing out a fresh install of VBB and importing the database, once that works I will put the old server offline and begin the migration.
I will have to remove all of the non-standard styles.
My main concern is the mods in the old VBB which I don't think I'd be
able to remove. I don't even know what they are as I didn't do the install.
I am hoping the fresh install will work and later on I can figure out what
outdated fields to drop in the database. I will probably just leave the old
data in there to avoid borking the database.
You may experience problems with 3.5 mods not working on 4, though...
You should be able to see the mods in the admin. Was there much custom stuff?
