Can somebody bid at japan yahoo ?

    Hello.

I just wonder if somebody can really help me to win a action at Japan Yahoo action. This will help me a lot and will get my collection much bigger. Maybe not much for you but for me is much :).

I can't understand a shit and I can't place a bid. IF you live in Japan, maybe you can get the item and send it to me at Norway?

Whether you have someone here bid or you use a proxy site, don't be surprised that people would want a commission for their service. There's always people that for some reason actually think someone would really go through the trouble of buying tons of things for them over and over and not expect to get something in return. :)

They've got the joy of doing a favor to someone. Ain't that enough of a reward? What a sad world we live in...!

If it's really urgent, I'd contact one of our Japanese members i.e. Yakumo. If not, try Rinkya or Shopping Mall Japan. I've never consulted them, but heard they had fair prices and good service.
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

I wanted some stuff from Japan before (at a hard brick and mortar store, not online) and some ASSEmbler users were very nice in offering to help.

    Just be aware they they do so out of their own time and generosity. (^_^);

I know :) Nothing that would wow us I reckon but something that a collector of a series would want to help complete that series

Can anyone confirm that www.shoppingmalljapan.com is good and reliable/fast etc? Seems to be about 10% fee plus shipping which sounds not too bad.
    TIA
Edit: Been looking through their forum and they look reliable, but I noticed they wont mark low value(to avoid cutom fees/taxes) on items, anyone know of a site that will do that if you ask?

He comes very well recommended from another forum that i use and i dont think hes too expensive. There are a couple more i can link to but i think they mostly deal with clothes not sure if they do yahoo auctions.

Because it's illegal. And, of course, you can't buy a $500 item, claim it's worth $5 but insure it for $500. If they were to open your parcel and realize the item is significantly undervalued to avoid customs, you'd have a problem.

Illegal maybe, apparently there are proxis that do it. worst case scenario customs ask me for a receipt that I give them and pay the taxes/fees.

I've always wondered whose law it breaks? It's in the senders country's best interest for them to declare the items as gifts, regardless of value as then they're subject to local sales tax... at least in most cases.

Law? Usually the destination country. Possibly both.

Realistically? It's an insurance problem. If it has a value of $5 you can't insure it for more than that.

Take a look at the discussion in the eBay thread about why people don't/won't ship overseas and you understand why proxies won't lie about value on customs forms.

If something goes wrong the buyer bitches up the seller/proxy. The buyer who declines insurance rarely says "You know what, I screwed up, my bad, I'll eat the cost" if things go sideways.
