Aight, we bash this place which is an easy target for westerns for their seemingly unchanging politics and xenophobia. However, long term gaijin are here for a reason: there is some good.

I'm going to Hokkaido to snowboard for the New Year. As it completely sucks to lug a 2 meter board, boots, wear, and all types of other shit everywhere else, I of course used the Takkyuubin. Round trip there and back: 3360 yen. It's about half that if you keep it on honshu. There's nothing close to that in the stats, and I would assume Europe as well. Awesomeness!

I find Japanese shipping quite reasonable compared to the US.

Post office raised rates AGAIN $11 to mail 2 pound... crazy

Oh, for sure. Domestic shipping of packages within Japan is very reasonable. Moving large items domestically and international shipping is not, though.

Taiwan has more cute girls in very short skirts then Japan does. Taiwan being a tropical country so even in December it's a nice 20 odd C.

Japan has an excellent mail service. In Europe you have to get your parcels from the post office yourself, in Japan you can ask your postman to deliver it when you are at home.
