    Wonder Sound?

    Hello,

was wondering if anyone ever owned a "WonderSound" unit?
From my understanding.. it is a speaker unit for the Sega Wondermega.. (Sorry I meant victor wondermega)

I think it's quite obscure and rarely found available for sale both online and offline.

I stumbled upon Rom2Amp speaker unit for pc engine alot but never have i found wondersound speaker unit for the wondermega.

    Any further details?
There's a sound tool cart for the VWMs but I assume you don't mean that.

Although that's a Victor brand and you allude to a Sega one. Never seen (or heard of) a Sega one. Never seen the Victor one for sale either..but I will most surely be looking.

Forgive me if I'm not getting this right but aren't they just a low quality pair of JVC speakers? Nothing like that from the 90's EVER gave of a good sound.

    Re quality - undoubtedly he.
But were they generic speakers given a branded Victor WM box, or specifically designed for the WM?
Regardless a very nice collectible if you get them CIB. Or am I missing something and these are common as...?

Thanks wheelaa, that wondersound on the link you gave is exactly what I after..
Yes it is a victor brand not sega one sorry for the confusion..
I've Been watching YJ for some many months nearly a year yet still havent found one..

@Yakumo, yes it could be not really good quality speakers, but for collection purpose a boxed wondersound as pictured above I would be very much liked :)

Wow.. i'm a collector of everything related to the wondermega, and i never knew this existed either. The question is however, how much do you want to spend on a speaker set just because it is wrapped in a wondermega/victor desiged box?

Anyway, i now have another item on my wanted list :icon_bigg

    EDIT

There was one on Yahoo once, i found this using google:

Yahoo! Auctions - Victor WONDER SOUND RG-SP1 - [Translate this page] Victor
WONDER SOUND RG-SP1. Item is a set of amplified stereo speakers. Only accessories box
and wall bracket. The power to enter, I get the sound. ...
    page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e89304003

The feedback on this item suggests the end date was February 5, 2009 12:55

Looks like a cool item if you want a complete Wondermega set up you have to get them I guess.

The quality could be surprising, I have a pair of similar sized Sony speaker (SRS-Z500) which are very good considering.

These are not high end quality speakers. I've had the chance to hear them after this thread was made and i can say they are nothing special at all.
