Xbox & arcade timer, anyone using one?

Anyone using any arcade timer PCB with an Xbox?

I've received a PCB (no markings on it to let me know who manufactured it) and the instructions are Engrish, so make little real sense.

It seems to function using a standard Jamma harness, but I tried hooking it up to a standard Xbox and although the Xbox powers up and I get an image on the screen, plus I can get Insert Coin (1p and 2p) onto the screen, I cannot coin up or get the controls on the CP to work. It also seems to disable the DVDrom drive as a fully functional Xbox fails to spin up.

One thing it does mention is IGR (In Game Reset) so I suspect it needs to be a hacked Xbox, which I had hoped I could avoid.

Anyone using something similar? Had these issues?

Oh, this isn't to make money btw, this is because I have a few of the arcade compilations that came out for Xbox V1 and decided to use arcade controls on things like Rampage, which is a difficult PCB to obtain ;-)

hmm...it might need a modded xbox. softmodded xbox would work most likely.
