Hidden Palace & SEGASaturno: Sega Saturn, surprise game

SEGASaturno and Hidden Palace are proud to present a joint community release of an unreleased Sega Saturn game

This is the first truly joint effort between both Hidden Palace and SEGASaturno to bring you an unreleased Sega Saturn game through donations.

You have all details here: http://forums.hidden-palace.org/viewtopic.php?t=2849

Many thanks for your help, as always. Regards.

All I can say right now is good look. :) Can't wait to get some income so I can help the HP and SS donation funds.

Will you be dropping more hints later on? I'm sure that will help encourage more people to donate if you give more clues later one.

I understand. I think the fact is an unreleased Sega Saturn game there's more than enough here to motivate people to help us.

But maybe we can give more details when some amount is reached. Probably that's a good idea.

    Ah. I misinterpreted this line.
It's an unreleased game which doesn't have any playable representation available to the public

I'd bet it is Rattlesnake Red. Would LOVE to see this game running on a Sega Saturn. Too bad I'm not able to donate anytime soon. Good luck, guys!

I'm betting it's a certain game that Segafreak_NL has a disc of that was being made by Capcom and was planned to be multi-platform. That's all I'll say.

If I'm right....that game looks like it sucked :(

If it has something to do with morphing creatures, multi and a 3/4 view, then.. well.. I'll pass.

..although, if it has something to do with zombies, fighting or black car searching + UFO catcher collecting, then I'd gladly fund the whole quota for the release! ;p

lol, good luck guys. Hope it's something good... :)

I had the same game in mind. Nothing I'd be too bothered with but I'm sure others would love this title.

I doubt it will be either Werewolf or Major Damage but you never know. The current known protos for these sold for less than the donation target required (I know ;) ). If it is either of them then hopefully it's a later build as 3 I've tried (2x MD, 1x WW) are pretty damn early! Very intrigued, will donate a litte later on.

Well, both Major Damage and Werewolf aren't really games to get excited about but both prototypes did show potential, especially Werewolf.

    It's probably Major Damage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ku2yKoR0_-Y

Honestly, if it is MD, the game looks like complete crap, but it's always nice to see unreleased Saturn stuff.

q-Is this already available in some other console or system?

A-It's a totally unreleased game, not available in any other platform. Therefore, it's a never-seen-before game.

I like the sound of that :)

Oh I don't know. Any saturn unreleased is of interest. But that is different to 'getting excited' admitedly. Agreed on Werewolf though, MD is a little limited.

Considering that Werewolf sold for less than what's being asked now I'm thinking it will be MD. Made by Capcom also, so it still fits under being from a major company.

As far as Saturn goes the only titles I can think of that I'd care about would be Shenmue(ya right, that's gonna happen) and Sonic X-treme(probably didn't get as far on Saturn as opposed to PC going by all the info we have though).

Wasn't a build of Sonic X-treme dumped and released not too long ago?

Well so did the 2 MD sales I know of (as I say above). Here's hoping for a fuller build to those 2.
