I picked up the complete Six Million Dollar Man Collection so I've been watching Season 1 the last couple days.

    It's cheesy 70's fun:thumbsup:

I watched that episode and christ. I honestly hope it isn't over. South Park is still very original and doesn't bore me at all. Family guy however has been like that since season 6 for me. Parker and Stone are comedy geniuses.

    Dexter.

Finished season 1 today, no moving on to season 2. I really liked it! Wasn't expecting much of it but it is fun.

I finished watching Scrubs today, I still haven't watched the 9th season. But the 8th is the last with the regular main cast.

It's really sad to see the show ending, but it felt right.

Just saw 'Super 8'. Before the movie, I had an hour long phone call and received some sad news that a dear friend of mine had hit rock bottom. I didn't feel like watching the movie, I was feeling like crap, but I didn't want to flake out on my friends who were waiting for me at the theatre.

The movie started and I forgot everything. I really, really enjoyed it. A perfect blend of nostalgia, 'The Goonies', and 'E.T.' A fun film that made want to be a kid again. I felt good coming out of the theatre. And then reality hit me as I walked through the parking lot to my car. I really hope things work out in the end, just like in the movies. I'm just glad 'Super 8' allowed me to escape for just a couple hours.

Don't rush it. I overdid it and by the Miguel series (can't remember if that's 3 or 4) I was kind of burned out. Or maybe that story arc just sucks.

I've started watching Battlestar Gallactica, the "new" one. Got the HD-DVD box set for a fiver. One of the worst transfers I've ever seen, though... mosquito noise and compression artefacts all over the place. I don't know who the fuck phoned that one in, they should be ashamed.

Watched Paul yesterday. Deathly dull and boring compared to the other Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movies.

I am going to miss the hell out of Game of Thrones after this Sunday.
Well, it's rather brutal here. Right now we are advising all our clients to put everything they've got into canned food and shotguns.

Saw Green Lantern. Not very cool in my opinion. Maybe because I don't know anything about the comic?

I'll probably see 'Bad Teacher' tonight as my weekly midnight showing. 'Cars 2' looks pretty forgettable. Didn't care for the first 'Cars' all that much. At least 'Bad Teacher' has a chance of making me laugh.

How I Met Your Mother - Season 1

The show has a horrible feeling of badly scripted 90's sitoms. I knew exactly what was about to happen until the last episode once I had seen the first episode, and that's a really bad thing for a sitcom story. I then read the summary for season 2 and it didn't surprise me at all. Just great, I'll quit watching it then.

But that's not enough for an adequate rant, is it?

Well, then we have the humor. For the most part it's either totally exaggerated and sometimes infantile. Something I really dislike is that they never bother to explain the social situations they put such a huge focus on. I mean, the entire show is only about Ted whining about his failures in relationships or dates. But we never get to see them... I have literally lost count of all the women Ted had dates with in one season of HIMYM. He even had some relationships, but they never tell you why they fail.
For instance, the last episode shows him in a romantic climax kissing a girl he just found in a random cupcake store. Oh god, he found her, how romantic, now everything's gonna be good!
Next episode: he's sitting there, whining about how he might has to break up with her.
These immediate twists with no explanation whatsoever are SO-DAMN-ANNOYING!

Then all that fucking romantic and moral stuff. I know it's an American sitcom, but it never pissed me off as much as it did here. We have do it the right way, break up before kissing a new girl, ulala! We can't show more than kindergarten-like kissing on American TV, ualala! -_-
Some scenes seem to last forever with all that romantic music and shit, but it just never reaches the level of really being romantic, it stagnates at the boredom stage.

I am really pissed about this show.

Last but not least - Ted's not a likable guy, he's a douche. I don't want to watch a douche trying to date beautiful women, it's pathetic. And not funny.

END OF RANT, HERE'S MY CONCLUSION:

    How I Met Your Mother
    SUCKS

    HARD.

    BUNNY COCKS.
