HBO's series all tend to have an issue with the finales....

The finale of In Treatment also kinda sucked. I watched it yesterday and was totally dissapointed

@K-Panggg Nope, I haven't yet watched any Big Love or In Treatment. Right now I'm working on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Oh, on a side note, True Blood season 3 finale(and the episodes leading up to) sucked. I mean why would Jason Stackhouse choose to stay with that family!??! He would've been such an awesome cop!

Agreed, True Blood kinda sucked. Allan Ball is ruining the whole thing. All the Bill/Sookie scenes were completely fast-forwardeable, as well as the whole Jesus-Lafayette thing (it REALLY bothers me that they are SO freaking mystical all the time... it's obnoxious, I want some NORMAL characters to relate to-Other than Arlene that is).
For me the best thing of season 3 is, and will always will be, His Royal Majesty Russell Edgington.

The Jason subplot, is a bit stupid. Obviously things with Crystal will not last much, the whole town of Hotshot is basically made up of inbred drug dealers so they need Jason's genes to improve the gene pool. Before that can happen, he needs to be turned though.

I think that maybe, he could become a werepanther cop, that would be interesting.

Yeah. That, Party Down and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are the only comedies I've ever gotten into. Unless you count animated comedies.

Just watched "Ano natsu, ichiban shizukana umi" ("A scene at the sea") (1991), what an unexpected ending D: , really didn't saw that one coming. Very nice movie anyway, and beautiful soundtrack from Jō Hisaishi.

Last night I watchd Reservoir Dogs in 1080p. I can't really notice any improvement in quality on 37" screen, but I guess it is because of scale - 480p DVD image stretched to fit would maybe look like shit.

Tonight I intend to watch District 9 in 1080p - I've seen it before on DVD just not recently or in 1080p.

Once Upon a Time in America! in 1080p.

It's an amazing movie, the narration style is great, the actors too. I watched the 229 minutes cut.

Waiting for Stargate Universe S02 E19, I believe this is the last episode. Too bad the show got cancelled, it sure was getting more exciting this second season, I can't really imagine not being a current Stargate show on air now, after what, like 14 years of Stargate overall? (inc. SG-1 & Atlantis)

ASSEMbler was talking about Human Centipede yesterday morning. After a busy day I watched it in the evening and all I can say is W... T... F...! He sure does watch the strangest things!
