You can't believe Coppola made a crappy movie? Guess you haven't seen Jack.

I was pretty disappointed in Drive, it was way too pretentious, especially the hipster music annoyed me. This is a good summary:

Well, I can't say I remember every Coppola movie I watched and whether I liked it or not... my point is it was way too crappy... I could understand if it was bad, but that was... just pathetic and sad.

The reason I brought up Jack is because it's so well known for being uncharacteristically terrible, and the "family comedy" genre is also a baffling choice for Coppola to make.

I LOVED everything in Drive, except for the driving scenes. Go figure.

Did you watch it or did you wanna say that it's like Drive but better?

VP is one of my alltime favorite car movies. Both versions are good, but the 1971 original is a bit superior to the remake in my eyes because it's lacking the cheesy shit with his sick wife.
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

Just started a new series, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.

I recently finished Code Geass and Fate/Zero, so I'm in need of some new stuff.

I'm currently sinking my teeth into Stargate SG-1, never actually watched the show before so decided to give it a watch, I'm currently at the end of season 2. I was after something new to watch as I'm a big scifi fan so it was a toss up between this and Battlestar Galactica. I'll probably finish SG-1 and then move on to Stargate Atlantis, I've already watched Stargate Universe and enjoyed it so it will be good to go through the whole franchise. I'm looking forward to Battlestar Galactica but it can wait, I think I'm going to be here for a while!

Pretty slow TV time for me right now. I'm watching Whale Wars at the moment and I'm glad to see the Japanese aren't being such pussies and are starting to fight back some against these hippies. Still not enough for my tastes though.
Well, it's rather brutal here. Right now we are advising all our clients to put everything they've got into canned food and shotguns.

They made a remake? Original is the only one I care for.
