Just watched Mission Impossible 4, it was alright probably one of the better MI Movies. Also saw Avengers but in 3D this time, it was a little better but I dont feel that it added much to it. Still it was better than Tron in 3D lol, of all the movies that had the potential to utilize the 3D gimick it did one of the worst jobs of using that Ive seen.

I haven't seen a single movie that's really improved by the use of 3D. It's just a gimmick, even though the wingsuit scene in Transformers 3 or the "time jump" scene in Men in Black 3 may look cool, in general I can take it or leave it.
Speaking of which, MIB 3 was surprisingly good, I was expecting it to be a half-assed cash-in, but it was actually very enjoyable.

The Matrix sequels wouldn't be good in any dimension.

I wasn't expecting anything at all, and that's good... I can't even say it's a good action movie.

Also watched Bag of Bones Ep1 and it was pretty good... will watch Ep2 this weekend :)

I'm currently watching the entire 4 seasons of the 80's Knight Rider TV show and all of the classic British comedy, Bottom including the live shows which I was lucky enough to see two of them in real life.

The Office - Season 8. It isn't THAT bad without Carell. Yeah sure, a very funny member is gone from the cast but the rest are definitely working hard to keep the show good without him.

I'm currently watching Season 3 of "Medium", it's kept me interested thus far. Trying to keep up-to-date with "Breakout Kings" when I can as well.

I watched a midnight showing of 'Prometheus' last night. I really enjoyed it. Probably the best Sci-Fi movie I've seen in a while, and really it was just a lot of fun. Visually, it looked awesome! Definitely worth seeing on the big screen!

Me too. It was like LOST: Explains one secret, creates ten new ones.
I won't say anything, just what everyone already knows: It reveals some very interesting details about the space jockeys and sheds some light on the spaceship from part 1. I don't think the movie disappoints in terms of its distribution to the Alien universe, but it's also very good as a standalone sci-fi movie. I quite liked it, and I'm a big fan of the Alien saga. Prometheus does not disappoint. There are some weaknesses, but nothing major I think (like in Alien 3 and 4).

<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

I enjoyed Prometheus too, but at the same time was a little disappointed. Especially the new backstory for the aliens was pretty unnecessary: the alien was scary because it was something unknown from a deserted planet. That's all the background we needed for Alien. Overall, the movie was nowhere near as good as Alien or Aliens, but it does beat the hell out of 3 and Resurrection.

I agree the backstory was a little unnecessary. As a standalone movie, I thought Prometheus was a pretty good movie, if just for the visuals alone. It'll be interesting to see if they make a sequel to see where the story goes. They sure left it open.

Saw several movies recently... hope I'm not missing any in the list:

Twixt (2011) - terrible film... can't believe Coppola did such crap
The man who knew too little (1997) - pretty funny and enjoyable
Shadow of a doubt (1943) - liked it
Coming Soon (2008) - interesting Thai horror film; liked the idea, and the movie is not bad
God bless America (2011) - interesting movie; liked it
Drive (2011) - Nice photography but didn't really like the movie itself.
