Last night I watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and I can't believe why I didn't watch this classic before. Jack Nicholson does an awesome job and I can highly recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

Right now I just finished watching Numb3rs episode 10, the series make me feel like an idiot, but considering the things we face every day, what doesn't?

When the doctor asked me, if I heard voices in my head, the voices said "tell him no!"

House MD makes me feel like a real doctor.

Seriously, watching House, reading a few wikipedia articles and so on... I'm about to counterfit my CV and start looking for a job as a doctor in one of those plastic surgery clinics

If you like the medical side of House MD, then you should read this blog:

    http://www.politedissent.com/house_pd.html

It's a list of all the medical mistakes that House Team makes, and it features detailed explanations of every episode.

    Oh, awesomo..

Except for the part of the mistakes. I've seen mistakes doctors make first hand... and let me tell you It's SHIT, they play with people's lives without any regard for morals...

Corrie (in the UK), and just seen the recent StarTrek movie, which was not too bad (acting wasn't so hot though, but effects good).

Ditto! I've been watching corrie too, most amusing turn of events with Tony handing himself it; also seen the recent Star Trek movie, and agree; acting is a bit ropey (esp. the guy who plays Kirk), special effects good though.

Also, just seen 'Up', very good movie, very emotive ... bring spare tissues (it's a weepy!).

I just finished watching Thelma & Louise, what a great movie, the Hans Zimmer soundtrack is really good, and the best thing of the movie is the ending.

I watched a bunch of stuff today and last night.

    1. Fanboys - Love it. But then again... I am a Star Wars fanboy so why wouldn't I??
    2. Forgetting Sarah Marshall - Jason Segel cracks me up. "I wish I wasn't wearing this effing shirt."
    3. Office Space - Yeeeeaaaah... I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday...
    4. Anvil: The Story of Anvil - Best documentary I've seen in a loooong time. Highly recommended.
    5. Funny People - AkA Mildly Funny People
    6. Gone With the Wind - EPIC.

I've been watching that classic of television, "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show". 3 and a half discs in, that pesky sanity of mine's almost gone :110:

Tried watching 'Alien' earlier today but fell asleep. I only slept for a couple hours the night before so I wasn't really expecting to make it through the whole movie.

I've seen "Inglourious Basterds" lately, Tarantino's as well as the original from the 70's.

Not much to tell about this movie. I appreciate T.'s attention to details and the propaganda movie dedication ect., but the dialogues bore me to death. What a piece of pointless crap, like Death Proof.
The original I.B. is an entertaining little exploitation movie that's just as pointless regarding the storyline, but I think it's quite fun to watch. Loads of action, great "manly" (DUMB) slogans and honest exploitation of the Nazi subject.

    ib new: 5/10
    ib old: 7/10
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

He'll never make a movie as good as 'Pulp Fiction' and that's the end of it. I.B. was a good movie but I agree with you on the dialogue. Brad Pitt's monologue that's shown in all the trailers is the best bit.

My problem was that I expected something entirely different after having watched the great trailer. And then I got Death Proof in Nazi occupied France - Goddammit!!
Pulp Fiction is his master piece, I totally agree on that. The selection of characters was just great and they were unique. But most of the basterds or the other chars in IB can be forgotten within a second.

The only fun thing about the movie were the usage of different languages. I watched the original version and didn't have to read any subtitles at all since I can understand German, English and French. Apparently French is the hardest, but I watch a lot of French movies w/French subs, so I am used to it.
