    Videgame store in Buenos Aires?

    Anyone from Buenos Aires?

A friend of mine will travel to Buenos Aires next month.
I will ask him to buy a Wii for me if the prices are better than here in Brazil.

Can anyone point me to a good store?

I believe prices will be certainly cheaper than in Brazil, though I do not know any specific game store.

Maybe he'll have some luck looking at Walmart or other big stores (as Compumundo maybe..).

If I recall correctly feder is from Argentina maybe he can give you more info.

A bit of Google research turned out in this: http://www.todoar.com.ar/videojuegos.html

How much does a Wii cost in Brazil? Here in Argentina you can get a Wii with a Modchip, for U$S 425 in a Game Store called GameSolutions. If your friend has a Mercado Libre Account you can get the wii for even less, I saw one with softmod for U$S 400, here is the link: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/...gos-tranfo-_JM

Consoles in Argentia are NTSC? 110v or 220v?

Game stuff in Argentina is even more expensive than in Brazil. I remember a friend from work that went to Buenos Aires with plans to buy lots of stuff. He ended up bringing back nothing.

Paraguay would be the best place to go buy game stuff (current gen only), since their import taxes are 0%. You would only pay a little more than the price asked for the item in USA. But you can only spend 500 dollars, or the Brazilian Custom will make you pay 60% of import taxes plus some other fees.

    Thanks.
I will wait for the price cut (US$ 200) to reflect the prices here in Brazil.
