    Whats this game? Namco Aracde Air Cycling..

    Hi,

    Trying to find out some info about an old game in the arcades I recall. In 3D, mid-90s, BELIEVE it was by Namco. It involved someone cycling on a contraption with wings-you had to hit red balloons to gain time/clear a course. The cabinet itself was elaborate, with an imitation 'bike' you sat on and pedalled.

    Anyone know? It might not even be Namco, that might be throwing me..

    I love Propcycle, when i lived over in the netherlands there was an small bowling alley down the road with Propcycle and Sega Rally. Needless to say a good portion of my wages went into those machines.

    I remember playing that in Sega World Trocadero about 12 years ago.

    Wonderpark used to have this. And Galaxian 3: Project Dragoon (the scaled-down six-player version). And go-kart racing. And all the pinball you could ever want.

    ...They closed the place down, and nowadays I can't think of a single reason I'd ever want to go back to that mall again. They took away everything that made it awesome. T_T;

    All they would need is ten nuclear weapons in the kiloton range, disguised as Girl Scouts.

    I'm sure they had it on an episode of Gamesmaster back in the '90s (loved that show).
    Michael Fish, a BBC weatherman, was playing it and if I remember, Dominik Diamond was ripping the piss out of him.

    I'll rummage round my old vhs tapes and see if I can upload a capture of it.

    You can ask for any old woman
    You can ask for an army of ants
    You can ask for a pillar of poison
    You can ask for sheep and shavers

    And you can die for

    Can't remember seeing it in any of the arcades I went to, looks like fun though.

    Found the tape, here it is being used for a challenge on Gamesmaster:
