yeah. sunday me and three mates are coming over from hamburg/germany to tokyo, going to spend a week there, then probably a few days in kyoto and osaka, and then back to tokyo. we have a rail ticket for the middle week of our stay, which we will use to go to kyoto etc... we also found out that tgs is taking place at our last weekend, so we will probably try to go on saturday. well.. if any of you located in tokyo cares for a meetup in a pub, club, park or whatever... let me know.
we are also trying to watch a day of sumo fighting, and maybe a game of baseball. does not matter if its unknown matches, we'll just take anything. allthough we didnt have a chance to get tickets, since all the websites are in japanese, which we dont know. if someone would be willing to help with that... perfect. :)
if there is other non-touristic stuff we absolutely have to check out, pointers would be well recieved. i could also imagine spending a night somewhere in the mountains around tokyo, but as of now, we did not find anything.
if someone local is willing to share some ideas, i'd be more than happy. :)
