    PS3 Jap multilingual list?

A number of Japanese games do have english (and other languages) in them, which you can select by setting the language in the system options. Soul Caliber IV and Winning Eleven are two games that support this (the same applies in reverse too) (and my aren't the cheesy american voices in SCIV really grating), however not all games do. Is there a list anywhere of what languages games support per region?

I would like to find out if the Japanese version of Little Big Planet has Stephen Fry's lovely wit. It would be nice to see what other Japanese games do support English too. The Chinese/Taiwanese/Hong Kong PS3 games do state on the back of the box what languages they support, and LBP does have English as well as Chinese (although not tried other languages...).

    yup - it does. :D
it also has someweird bug though (or did) where you can't connect to the Japanese servers if your language is set to english.

    Others :
Resistance - english voices, english text, censored
Ratchet and Clank - english voices, english text
Haze - english voices, full japanese text - no english text
F1 - english voices, partial english text not full english
    Ridge Racer - English
    Mingol 5 - no english
Ninja Gaiden sigma - full english

and i think everything else i have is the western version so that solves the language thing, but not the censorship issues. :/

Well you are meant to be playing it in Japanese. Still I'll pick this up when I am back in Japan :) Thanks

Are you sure about this? As the version I have is just Japanese commentry, regardless of settings. I bought mine in the month of release. Can you give me the catalogue number, BCJS-30005?

Can't say I've noticed, the only three non Japanese games I have are Orange Box as it looks like it won't get released in Japan on the PS3... and MGS and Burnout Paradise as they were free.

i had the release version , which i sold, but i bought back a version recently,

should clarify - The spoken instructions to the driver were in English, some stuff (menus) were in English, everything else was in Japanese.

to my shame, i've not played the version i bought back - cat number on that copy is the same - BCJS 30005.

re: Censorship - yeah i doubt those will be a problem, worryingly it seems to be machine based for the games that are though (Resistance for instance - though it can be circumvented by some playing around with a US save file). God of War 3 being system based censored would be a pain. Time to import a US slim! ;)
