I regret not picking up a Tera Drive back in 1997 (I was 12-3 years old) in a passage somewhere in Tehran, Tajrish I think. I had talked it down to about 60 USD I think before letting the whole thing drop since the monitor would be a big no-no when travelling back (my mom would kill me for spending 60 bucks on such a big piece of furniture!)

how much do Teras go nowadays anyway? I wonder how much of an investment it would have been
You can ask for any old woman
You can ask for an army of ants
You can ask for a pillar of poison
You can ask for sheep and shavers

    And you can die for
Be careful what you wish for

selling my NES for money for more n64 stuff. If I had it still - my collection could be considered my lifes work since I got it when I was 2 years old.

Approx. 150-200 Euros I guess, but keep in mind that a nagging mom (for years, probably) is not to be underestimated. Losing 150 EUR & some freakish piece of sexy hardware may had been the better option then

Next time I am in need of money (and in my current situation that will be like next week or so...) I will think of selling one of my expendable body parts, like a lung or a kidney before I sell any of the items in my collection...

I have no soul, so I can't sell that
And my dignity has a very low price, so that would report me with a marginal amount of money....

Yeap, a kidney is my best option

I would think it'd be worth a bit more since he mentioned it having the monitor. Typically on ebay they for that price range without the monitor. So maybe the nagging mom would have been worth it. =P

One of the few things I regret selling are all my PS1 games when I was little. My PS1 died a few months after I got it (used so it had no warranty left). So many awesome and fun games I gave up. At least now I have most of them again. Especially finding Einhander again was awesome except I think I paid more for it now than I did back then.

I regret selling my original boxed Platinum Silver Neo Geo Pocket Colour with Metal Slug 1st Mission, Neo Cup 98 plus Colour and King Of Fighters R-2. I did buy another one with neo turf masters but it was used and it was never the same as the one i had and i got rid of that one too.

I may buy a NGPC again since i really liked it.

Fortunately enough, never had to sell anything at all

That is unless the divorce goes through and she wants to be awkward and take share of the property despite umpteen CCJ`s and continued bad debts

Hope the judge see`s sense :-)

    ....Full on Mario collector....

The production of silence in art is an utopian enterprise.
If we disregard the alchimie du verbe, traditional language cannot capture the essence of what we attempt.
It possesses utility only so far as it can construct boundaries. Forgive me, but I truly believe that music encompasses more, not stumbling in logic and formality.

PATRICK (my last name)'s NES DONT TOUCH GREGORY (my older brother)
then it contained my address and phone number on the bottom side (i was very protective of the thing) Eventually it got sold and i moved on
2007 i got a phone call asking if i was patrick i answered yes and he mentioned he had my NES i talked him into selling me it for 60 quid. had a few of my original games too

    BEAT DAT
Reminds me of this. My best friend in probably... 1st, 2nd grade (both?) moved away to some other state. I was bummed. He had a Genesis (and I didn't) and we played it all the damn time. His father had a bunch of awesome high-end RC cars and I thought that was awesome.
Jump ahead many years. In fact, a couple years ago. I'm at a yard sale, and I pick up a copy of Perfect Dark for a few bucks. I get back to the car and notice his name is written on the back in marker. I go back up to the sale out of curiosity (and because I decided to nab another game just for kicks) and a guy walks into the garage that was definitely him. I was too afraid to talk, almost in shock.
I'm staring at the cart right now.

I previously posted that I want my original gameboy back. I also had a Gameboy color (Lime green!!!) that got the crap played out of it. Non-stop! Traded it and all my games that I had for a Dreamcast and a million games. Totally worth it on my side, and I love that Dreamcast (will never ever get rid of it) but the centimental price was definitely steep.

Back in the day when CD-RW was new (and expensive as hell) I blanked a few beta discs with notable software simply because the physical media was more valuable to me at the time.

1989-90, destroyed :( many boxed game&watch before moving again and again following my parents..., dispatched for nothing to some stupid folks, lot of RPG/boardgames from the good old days (Call of cthulhu, Spacehulk, ...) .. the only thing that could follow me was a small carnet with glued pictures of some cutprints of magazines

it took years to re-assemble some of these pieces again (and prices of CoC/Space hulk can come outrageous !)

1994, was fundless, sold an atari lynx2 with various games i hunted down during months (was hard in france to get these games at that time). that's for the matter of hunting these games that i remember the most.. made numerous train trips (during the "Marine army duty") to visit towns (distance total was about 1200km !)

I regret selling all my consoles once I had finished with them and had moved on to the next generation.

In process of buying back all I loved...
