All of my PC games. However they helped pay for my GFX card and my PSU in my computer and I can surely find them cheaper than I first bought them for and play them better than I did before.

Hmm, non-gaming probably an old baglietto yacht that was beautiful inside but needed much engine work. Gamewise probably my Rotating Super Mario 3 Shelving Unit. It was all wood and in beautiful condition, it held original NES games. I was an idiot for selling it for $5.

I regret selling STACK UP for the NES for $5 a few days ago.

Its a game that is supposed to be used with R.O.B the Robot and I dont own one and it just looked stupid, I had NO idea it was actually worth anything lol.

Every game that i did sell, so that i just could buy me some more d'oh that i could smoke

I regret every game I sold to just blow it out into thin air. But i'm actually lucky, those days belong to the past now.
I have my friends, i have my own family. And have the needed flashcards to play those games i sold on real systems again.

    Thanks Krikzz

I second that, did that with my PS2, to get the PS3 60gig bundle, one of the very last in Danish stores.
At least I was clever enough to keep all the PS2 games I really liked to play.
My first PSX was stolen during a burglary in 2002 along with 75 games, all I have left is the included demo disc, they somehow missed that one, but stole all the others, and the official messenger bag, which I received the console in.
After that I got the PS2.

More recent, though not exactly regretting, as I've more or less lost interest, it still hurt like hell to sell my S.T.A.R.S Dreamcast, D-Direct Silver, D-Direct Black, Hello Kitty Blue (not so much), Hello Kitty Pink (not so much) and Sakura Wars.
Still have Claire left, and a Clear Seaman, both are going as well, plus a ton of unique VMU's, controllers, BBA's and other peripherals.

What I regret most about all my DC collecting, is that I got in late, circa january 2008, and most of the items I paid too much for, either on eBay or Yahoo via Rinkya.

Oh well, you win some, you loose some.

It's a real pitty that you sold all your DC collection SirGadget, you had put up a really nice & complete collection.

I went through the same as you, not feeling my collection like I did before and I almost sold it all last month, but I changed my mind at the very last minute; for good. I've finally made the decision of not selling it in my entire lifetime! It's too much fun going hunting for things and then staring at them in my room :D I'm back to collecting with fresh money and a good attitude again.

What I regret though is selling a bunch of GD-Rs when I needed money this year. I guess I'll make the buyers a good offer in the near future ;) I have to get them back!

It' wasn't huge, but there is a laptop I totally regret selling.
I picked up a Sony TX series laptop a while back off someone who said it was dead (it was a dead HDD) so I replaced it. It had a fairly nice processor, and it still isn't bad for simple tasks, so that's why I regret selling it.
I grew very attached to the way it looked as I couldn't find another 11" laptop with a built in DVD drive, much less one running something other than atom. The screen was incredible for it's time- razor slim 1366x768 LED panel is still the norm now, and it's one of the few laptop keyboards I can type on nearly perfectly.

Arg. I'm trying to buy one now, but the higher end ones that can actually run with a reasonable speed are hard to come across. Plus, the replacement for it, the TZ series just doesn't feel the same.
I guess sometimes the older ones are the best.

You're right Blai, I've been very nervous every time I sold a system, especially my D-Direct Silver and my S.T.A.R.S, the silver because it wasn't off looking in my living room, and the S.T.A.R.S because I had been after it for so damn long.
But I don't currently have, and probably would be a long time if ever I got a room for displaying it all, so everything was just sitting in my closet when I lived at home, and right now everything I have left is in boxes in the middle of living room, while going through taking pictures of it all.

But all in all I've just lost interest in collecting like that, now I'm gonna focus on what I actually like playing, and regarding the DC's game library, it was for me really only Jet Set Radio and of course Shenmue I liked playing.
Otherwise I'm primarily playing stuff like Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Prince of Persia, Ninja Gaiden, GTA, Yakuza etc.
If Shenmue get's rereleased on the PS3 at some point with re-rendered graphics, trophies and all that, and they actually finish the story by releasing the third game, then I'd be a happy camper.

At least I've so far gotten decent money for what I've sold, so I''ve been able to upgrade my camera rig, and put money aside for a new complete Hifi setup.
I'm really looking forward to finally have enough for that, and maybe share a few pics of it, if anyone in here are interested in that:-)

In the end it's just a matter of what's important to you and what makes you happy, so go for whatever makes you happy.

Sure I want to see your new hifi when you get it ;D

I kind of regret selling my Neo Geo AES but collecting for that system it so god damn expensive it would have been a worthless venture. Consolized MVS is the way forward for budget Neo Geo collecting.

Okay, I'll post pics once I get it, only have one of the components as of now, the bedroom tv, and still missing the dvb-c tuner for it and ceiling mount:-)

If there's one thing I realised during my DC adventure it's that you really shouldn't try and get everything, just the things you really want.
I ended up having several consoles I didn't appreciate at all, I just had to have 'em because they were different editions than the one's I already had.

The only one's I really appreciated was my S.T.A.R.S, my Claire (my first LE), and my D-Direct Silver, the rest was just collecting for the purpose of collecting, which was exciting I'll admit, but not as satisfying as hoped once I received the items I'd shelled out for.
