I got NTSC-J Samba de Amigo with Cha Cha Maracas for 12 quid including postage on eBay the other day, I already have the far rarer PAL set but I wanted one to play and this was a bargain.

$15 for a prototype v1.6 XBox. Appears to be the only known model of its kind.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

Got ahold of Gun Valkyrie for $3.50, it's quite rare in PAL format, very good buy I think.

The game gives me a headache, so the likelihood of me finding differences in the prototype version is slim.

I bought a VCR that had two fivers in it once. It also had a bunch of coins and some random small toys and batteries. Baby drug dealer?

Hmm... baby drug dealers usually hide their money in these:

Also they drive around in lowrider bobby cars with spinners, blasting Raffi's songs at deafening volume.

Not sure if this really fits here, but it's unbelievable to me!

I have been looking (for years) for a decent copy of Snatcher (PAL) on the Mega-CD. When it appears on eBay, it's usually listed for stupid money, it's rare but not made of gold.

A few weeks ago, someone posted an eBay auction for a Hideo Kojima signed copy in mint condition, but wanted £250 for it! I offered him £150 and he declined. Oh well, move on.....

Anyway, last night i get an email from the same seller saying that he's having a crisis and needs quick cash and would be willing to sell it to me for the £150 i originally offered him. Unfortunately The email was a few hours old and i hadn't checked my eBay all night, but i emailed back with a big YES! right away...

I get an email back this morning - "Sorry, i put it up for auction just after i emailed you and someone bought it within the first hour!"

    eBay sellers - F**KING UNBELIEVABLE!

Had some cracking finds over the years recently got tombi and tombo 2 for £1 each at a carboot then got double dash (Zelda version), tales of symphonia and the first parasite eve from a little junk DVD store for £5 each. Pretty happy with those.

So, given some of the crazy prices of Clock Tower stuff I'm seeing as of late....

I needed to replace a Clock Tower 3 guidebook with a band when I spotted an auction lot of -

All CIB (PS1 copies have obi included) -

Clock Tower SFC (Either the first release or the first revision, can't tell because the manual is too far away to read the serial for it)
Clock Tower ~The First Fear~ Limited Edition (with slipcase and bonus Fan Book)
Clock Tower ~The First Fear~ Guidebook
    Clock Tower 2
Clock Tower 2 Guidebook (with band)
    Clock Tower Ghost Head
    Clock Tower Ghost Head Guidebook
    Clock Tower 3
Clock Tower 3 Guidebook with band (guidebook I needed to replace)
Mint Clock Tower 3 Making of "How Kinji Fukusaku Changed the Game".

All for about the same price one single boxed copy of SFC Clock Tower usually goes for on all of the auction sites (pans out to be close to $100).

So, I can sell some doubles I don't need and make a little bit of that back. But it was a plus for something that just looked like another SFC copy of Clock Tower.

So far the only other good finds I've had are a Clock Tower 2 poster, Clock Tower 2 Flyer, a bunch of promotional VHS tapes and a new/unused Clock Tower 3 E3 Promotional t-shirt for $1.

But the lot auction seems to have been the last decent item and/or anything I've needed to replace.
