gawd thats a fucking deal!
I got the following for 60 bucks off of craigslist -
Atari Jaguar
Atari Jaguar CD
1 boxed/new controller
1 used controller
all the cables
Games -
Bruce Lee
Alien Vs. Predator
Doom
Zool 2
Cybermorph
Tempest 2000
Primal Rage (CD)
The ad just said it was an Atari Jaguar so when I went to get it and saw the JagCD I was pretty surprised. It all works great but the video cable is RF, I need to build a better cable.

15 Japanese Laserdiscs for $15.
Not bad given most people assume that because they're rare that must mean they're expensive too.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
You can buy lots of Laserdiscs in a lot of shops in Japan for anywhere between 21 to a few hundred yen. But yeah idiotic for people to think Japan = rare.
Some Laserdiscs are rare even in Japan, but they don't fetch the old price ranges anymore due to obvious reasons. Then there's the big market for collector's who just fancy the looks of the boxes and covers.
Dune & Twin Peaks come to my mind. Not to mention old horror/splatter/anime, people still pay for this. At 60$ for a mindblowing Dune boxset though you wouldn't exactly say it hold its value.
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?
Digging around in the loft today I found a board game I bought a few years ago at a boot sale for £3. Conquest of the empire (2005 rerelease), I bought it years after it came out and it turned out to be BNIB pretty much all original baggies. It's still like that as I never found anybody to play it with and it sat in my loft.
It now is worth over £30 on ebay.
a few days ago i was on al flea market and found an xbox translucent green limited edition for 15€. once at home opened it for cleaning, it was full of dust, and found the inner modified with a modchip and a 120gb hdd :)
Curiously enough I came across copies of both Exodus and Odysee at a Cash Converters for a quid each last week. Even more remarkably, they were in damn near perfect condition - none of the normal scuff marks, broken hinges and waterlogged inserts. Together they went for £17.50 on ebay (I have copies already).
Not sure how good a deal this is if you can consider this a deal.
Got an unboxed Wii in a fairly well looked after but used condition for £49. I also then picked up the mario kart bundle with wheel with the contents of the box in a very well kept condition and the box in a decent condition for £10.
Sure i could have got a brand new wii for £99 but within the last month or so i've spent way more than i normally have plus i want DiRT3 and L.A. Noir as well 360 so gotta make sure i have some money for those but still have enough left over for other important expenses.

Bubble Bobble Part 2 for the NES complete and mint for $32.00 store credit.
Was the $32 your offer, or was it the value the computer assigned to it? I know local places where they give out like 25c ot 50c per game, which is a total rip. But those prices are from people in head office who know jack about collectibles.
The computer had it at $40. I do a good amount of the console repairs fir the store so the guy there gave me 20% off. I waited an hour watched as someone traded it in for $10 store credit. I wasn't leaving until I had bought it.
Bought a Wii no games with faulty drive for $70. The punk college kid tried to sell me New super mario bros game for $30 but I only wanted the system. Got it home and opened it up and the reason the drive was not working? Found a porno dvd AND New SMB game disc in drive.
