Final Fantasy VII Platinum - 3 disc.

Sells in shops and on eBay UK for around £20 for a scratched up copy. One copy at the moment is going for £56.

Found in charity shop - all discs in perfect nick with a manual in excellent condition for.... £2.49! My jaw hit the floor.

I get stuff for free all the time. A friend of mines aunty runs the local charity shop and because they cannot sell un-tested electrical goods (Consoles) or anything they can't test because of this fact (Games) she bags them up and gives them to me. All she asks in return is a few hours labour maybe once every 3 months when they change all the store around.

    Recent goodies from there -

    Boxed SMCD 2
ZX Spectrum with about 300 games
Complete snes games including super metroid, zelda and donkey kong

    Recent car boot goodies -

    Pikmin 2 for cube - £3
Evolution snowboarding for cube - £4
Super Smash Tennis for cube - £6 (Brand new)

My best ever wild finds -

Complete AVP for Jaguar - £1
Snes with 18 games (Metroid, All DK games, Kirby, Secret of Mana) all boxed and minty - £15
Sealed masters of combat for sms - £5
Donald Duck Gift set for sms - £18 (Ebay)

Yeah, assuming shipping isn't too high. Even $25 total is an awesome value for all the games in SMAS.

I brought a Fully boxed NES with R.O.B The gun the 2 games that come with it and all the foam packaging that they are packed in it for about 40 pounds. I thought that was a brilliant deal.

The Local WH Smiths over here are selling off their PS2 Slims for £40. I grabbed one as a spare as I thought it was a fairly nifty price for a brand new sealed unit.....

I was picking up a PS3 for my brother during a "no tax" sale. I was also picking up Dragon Quest: Swords (Wii) for myself. As it turns out, the clerk removed the tax twice, impressed how the no tax sale got me the game for free. I even asked her, "is that right?", so she had pleanty opportunity to demonstrate her knowledge of math.

Alas, free Dragon Quest: Swords for me. :)

I once bought a massive box of consoles for a tenner (About 30 consoles, PS1s, SNESs, NESs, MDs, MSs, N64s..etc)

Serviced all inside and out, tested and sold it on with a couple of broken PS2s for ~ £100. Bought and sold on ebay
