The dev kit was owned by 3DO before they shut down. Lets hope it has some secrets inside ;).

Got a free new Nintendo 64 from a friend, his mother has a games shop and that was in it :D He gave it to me as a gift, because they didn't sell it anymore :D
Got 2 Xbox ones, for 20 euros.
they where supposed to be dead, red/green frag.
opened them up and checked everything.
Lot of flux everywhere, solderblobs on LPC and 1 spot on memory.
Flux removed in like 3 minutes, solder removed by... hand... was a bit sticky.
Fully working 2 xbox's now :P happy me

A boxed Saturn, a boxed Virtua Cop gunset and a copy of Virtua Cop 2? For $3.56 ?!?!? That works out at about £2.30 GBP.
I need to think about getting someone to hook me up with a Yahoo account. At prices like that you can easily justify soaking up the £35 EMS postage charges. I know these prices will be rare occurrences but nonetheless if you only drop on cute like this once every few months you've saved a fortune over specialist retailers and eBay.
I was really surprised by this either. CIB Saturn consoles finishing at such a ridiculous price are very uncommon, even on Yahoo.

Now, for that Amiga I am super-jealous! The accelerator boards alone fetch 250-300 euros on ebay.de ! Great find, I still like those, have used mine for years until changing over to the pc became necessary for me.
Geforce 2 Memory donor for one of my xboxes: 1 euro at ebay + 2.20 euro shipping (~4.40$ for the card and shipping)
Also got an original xbox, one controller-s, 007: from russia with love, most wanted and american wasteland in perfect condition from a friend: for free (I offered money but he didn't want it. I owe him bigtime for that though :P).
Still looking for a cheap [~150 euro including shipping; around 350 euro is the cheapest I can find at the moment. Maybe with donations some day :( ] Chihiro (for development reasons) though. Well.. next time

Got a free Grundig 32" LCD with broken inverter board, backlight goes out after one second. Easy fix, just need some spare money for a new inverter board or just a new trafo, depends on what the multimeter will say.

I got a $1000 PC for $500 off craigslist; I got a Snes for $30 that came with 2 controllers, DKC, DKC2, SMW, SMK, Ms. Pac-Man, and Super Gameboy with paperboy; I got Chrono Trigger for snes for $20, Conker for n64 for $20. I got another snes with 9 games and 2 controllers for $30. I got an atari, 26 games, and 5 controllers for $20.

bought a 3g kindle off some random person for $10, they couldn't get it to charge, took it home worked fine with my charger and a reset.
It is usually hard to charge something when you don't steal the charger too!
