Dude, I got lucky on this one.
Man, that's awesome. :DOriginally Posted by TOE-NEE
Myself, I think I got a good deal recently. $60 for a small lot of game systems.
- An original "toaster" NES, already with the 72pin cart connector fix in it.
- An original "wide" Sega Genesis. No serial port, but I could just add one. ;)
- A 2nd generation "small" Sega Genesis.
- A 32X. Missing the passthrough cable, but I'm pretty sure I've seen the scematics out there.
- One controller for each, video, and power cables.
- A game for each.
Again, $60 (Canadian).
No freaking way! :oh:Originally Posted by TOE-NEE
Now, hopefully that makes up for the PS1 and PS2 debugging station hunts as there are people here who've been looking for a PS3 Test from the moment it was released. Wow! Well done
he didn't know what he had and i bet he still doesn't know and thinks he made a great deal...
wow! that's awesome :)
sometimes when buying a bargain like that i start to feel bad for the person i purchased it off after a while. this was the case when i scored the 2 midnight blue ps1s for less than 20 euros each :p
however after all its their decision to sell at the price, and sometimes people who really deserve it get to buy it, like with toe-nee's test ps3! he was desperately after a test ps1 and ps2 and got this instead. well earned imo
i'm desperatly after test/debugging consoles of N64 and GC, so where's my RVT Reader? :D :D
Exactly, all it takes it a little research on something that you are not familiar with to find out moreOriginally Posted by s1xty

very nice TOE-NEE! your hard work searching has paid off!
That is awesome mate. Well done.
I agree that is up to the seller to get the maximum out of what they are selling. If they are not willing to put the time and effort into researching what they have for sale then more fool them.
If you see any gamecube dev kits whilst searching be sure be give me a shout ;-)

Mmh - this thread makes me envious! :)
Recently picked up a Sega Saturn - got a boxed console inc. 10 games and an Action Replay, worked out around £10 total (was part of a bigger lot off evil bay). Later found copies of Jpn Panzer Dragoon 1&2 and Bomberman, £2 each in a charity shop!
The only other thing I can think of is the time I bought a MD action replay - inside the box was a later model Datel CDX. Although that was a complete fluke!
bought 3 Donkey Konga Jungle Paks for the Gamecube for 5 Euros a piece ... (Bongas and Game)
Always one more try, I'm not afraid to die - Manowar
Just received a brand new Guitar Hero III bundle with the wireless guitar free from one of those "try our advertisers offers" sites. Shocked as hell that I actually got it.
PouncingKitten Games
Xbox 360 - Glide, Bingo Party, Poker Night, O.C.D.
Flash - BunnyRun, Tic-Tac-Poker
