They have to start somewhere. SE phones for now.

Anyway, i have no interest for the PSP or PSPGo. And having no phisical media on it only makes it worse in my opinion. I'm still amazed why Sony didn't used the MiniDisc casing for the PSP discs in the first place. Instead they created a new case that has no scratch and dust protection.

I i ever buy one PSP (not the PSPGo), it'll be only for Gran Turismo.

that would be Sony Ericsson for now, not Sony per se.. The cellphone market is a different beast and the lack of SD might be a deal-breaker for some - no one wants to pay 700 euros for a phone and pay premium for memory others get at half price

    SE is *NOT* Sony.

SE has wanted to do a PSP phone for quite awhile.

Sony refuses to allow SE to do so.

    Completely different companies.

Well, don't know too much about this system.

But in my oppinion it's butt ugly:banghead:

    My dislikes:

    1. Design
    2. Controls under a slider? wtf?
    3. No UMD, which means you can't buy a title, regret, and sell it again.

    My likes:

    1. None!

I already have a PSP 1001, and PSP 200x God of War Edition, I don't need a third.

Two stikes against it for me...

Price seems to high.. as the PSP line was finally at a good price (or close to one)

Lack of Physical Media - Up to this point non-pysical media games (downloads) have been optional.. but with the lack of UMD drive and no good explanation of what will be provided to UMB owners who upgrade.. I see this as bad for the PSP user base... Why upgrade if you have an old model yet cannot play your UMD games.. and Why buy the PSP go as your entry to the product line if you miss out on all of the software on UMD (and lesser extent UMD movies)

We'll just have to wait and see how this pans out..

It has a really nice looking design, in my opinion, but I can't see that being comfortable to play on...

Why yes, but PSP-200x and PSP-300x aren't comfortable either compared to the PSP-100x.

Did it have the 5.50 Debug firmware? It's rumored to have been on the PSP GO and has apparently been installed on a PSP-100x so far, no public release though.
