Not to mention the fact that the rarity column is totally useless. Why is J Allard Signed X05 Amsterdam a rarity 6 - One of a kind and Zero Hour Signed HEX168 at 4 - Difficult to obtain. Not only are signed faceplates all one of a kind the second one has like 8 signatures. Also why is 7 - Extremely RARE anymore rare them something thats 6 - One of a kind? Who ever put this together isnt the smartest person around.

Fuck faceplates. How about people just game instead of falling into
such an obvious attempt to cash in on people's base urges?

I've always hated custom faceplates. 90% of the time they don't match the rest of the system so it makes the system look ugly as fuck. Okay you like some game a lot? Get a poster for that game!

I think Microsoft really overestimated the appeal of these things. I don't know anyone with a custom faceplate on their 360 nor have I ever even considered getting one of these (well, let me know if they ever make a Gunstar Heroes one). Hell, about the only time I see these things is in the "we seriously need to get rid of this stuff because it's been sitting on the shelves for the last four years so we're marking them down 90%" bin.

The GB Micro is one of the few systems that actually had some really good face plates. It's a shame they were almost always bundled with a system though.

I own a hot rod faceplate but i dont know how to tell if its a prototype or not... any tips.

My faviroutes are the UK and US Launch team faceplate and the E3 05 Faceplates. i honestly doubt microsoft would make shag faceplates
