Curious if any of you in Japan hear what people are saying. Is Amazon a fluke, is it a mass joke, or does it suck?

Never trust amazon reviews they can be used to protest things.. I would go by famitsu though it's not always a 100% gauge on quality.

Famitsu are well known to take backhanders. Howelse can complete shit get great 9/10 scores n that made yet something that's pretty cool will only get a 6 or 7.

Good luck finding someone even somewhat unbiased on the net, you're better off checking out the local arcade and asking those kids.
I can say that Hand of the Heavenly Bride is an awesome remake!:thumbsup:
It sold 2,343,440 copies in the first two days. Surely there will be some percentage of those people who are not happy with it and will make their point about how they dont like it online.
I would say most people are still playing it - and that you should probably give it a bit longer before taking internet reviews seriously.
Quite a few playing it on the trains today. Had one guy staring over at my DS screen quite a few times, very interested in what I was playing.
He was playing DQIX. I was playing an emulated version of Mega Man 3. Mega Man wins!!!
Still doesn't been the elderly lady who I let have a go at Contra 4 on the train a few months ago. Probably 70 years old, and she could hold her own. Incredible.
