Screens and info on new unreleased NES game, Kitty's Catch!

While finding unreleased NES games is always nice, I can see why Kittie's Catch never stood a chance of being released. Maybe in 1985 it would have sold, but for 1989, something so simplistic would have only ever appeared as a bonus round in a much larger & professional game. Gameplay standards really jumped in the NES era.

Cool, I added these to x-cult. Curiousity though, is this all the game is? Boats and cats?

Cool, this looks good. I've always been a fan of the NES games, even though like 3/4's of my NES games hardly work T_T... But I'ma gonna go look for more when I get money. They are really nice, and worth a bunch ;)

Weird, are you sure? What were the other games?

Score! Any plans for a release in cartridge form?

NES games rarely die, they just need to be properly cleaned. Without blowing on them.

try disabling the lockout chip. If the lockout chip pins can't read - the game won't work. Disabling it will let games with those corroded to still function.

Hi, quoting again to see if anything became of this.

I'm doubtful that this is the case, seems unlikely that the game would have leaked from David personally and ended up on a Multi. This game wasn't associated with any production company and it's unlikely there were enough proto copies produced for one to get "out there" to the pirates.

I'm working on doing another release similar to Hoppin' Mad with some cool new things. The CE is definitely going to be very different to any that have been released to date. Also, like always, the ROM will be released to the public after the game has sold out so anyone who wants to play it for free can.

Got a lot of desoldering to do and some other laborious tasks, but this should be out late October or November hopefully.

Oh I doubt it too, I'm just curious.

Moving along with the assembly process of the kitty's Catch Repros:

Finished up all the prg chips tonight, just barely started the chr chips. The game will officially contain the original unaltered proto ROM, so I'm hoping the proto community will be pleased with that. Also, the ROM will be released to all as always after we sell out.

I'll update when I have a more polished product ready to show:)
