Here's a treat for everyone! For the first time in history, GSL Heavy Industries, Ltd. has authorized independent photographers to capture on film pictures of the World Headquarters! (read: I finally got my hands on a decent digicam). Long a source of fan curiousity, these photos should hopefully shed light on what really happens behind those closed doors.
As you can see by the utter disarray, this is a gamer's room and not really a collector's. With the exception of the Jaguar (it's PAL) and the Intellivision 2 (no games/hookups) I use all of these consoles a few times a week. Starting on the floor here on the left, we have my gold US Nintendo 64 unit modded to play Jp games and featuring the HoriPad Mini courtesy of Antipasta. :smt023 Beneath the N64 is an extrenal Playstation developer's CD-ROM drive. To the right is the NES, with the NES Advantage joystick on top and the NES Max controller to the front. Moving right still is the Intellivision 2, sadly unusable because I haven't gotten around to getting games/hookups yet. Moving on to the bottom shelf and working from left to right is the Playstation with its pink outer shell, sitting under a pair of Street Fighter 15th Anniversary controllers. Right of that is the Sega Genesis, and right even more is the Atari Jaguar.
Moving up, we have the US model 1 Sega Saturn with Action Replay 4-in-1 sitting on top of the Panasonic M2 Kiosk unit. After that is the SuperGrafx (top) and TurboGrafx (bottom), and then is the beloved Dreamcast.
Pretty straightforward - Gamecube, SNES, and Tv. Pewter Doom figurines (Baron Of Hell & Demon) standing on SNES.
Assorted game cases and boxes on display. A Famiclone hides in the left back, under the Atari 2600 Donkey Kong cart and behind the Dreamcast Pop'n Music controller. A Magnavox Odyssey^2, boxed, lies behind the stack of Genesis and N64 boxes.
Soundwave guards part of the game CDs, and especially the first two Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Edition DVDs in the box set.
The bed where I sometimes sleep. Please note the Advance Guardian Heroes and Tales of Symphonia signs.
Madhatter asked about my computer, and here it is, sadly not much cleaner than the rest of the room. Master Chief on the speaker guards me in my sleep. On my wall next to the bottom of the Love Hina poster is one of my two Famicom Classic game boxes - I have both from Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2 on display. The black thing in the upper left corner is a giant Jolly Rodger flag. Yes, that is a blue Zip drive on my computer, and yes, those are two Boba Fett figures sitting on Optimus Prime's shoulders by the printer.
