I have been working on some new display cabinets for my gt collection, i have an idea of getting custom sized acrylic stands for each game. But i can't wait to get those stands. I sorted out the games in a slapdash manner :) Here the pictures are;
The custom stands i want to get will be like that
, with the clear ones for sure.
Also I want to narrow the spacing between the shelves, it seems that i can add just an extra shelf for each cabinet. When i add an extra shelf, it may cause shadow. Therefore it would be much better if i replace the shelves with the glass ones. What do you think guys? Your thoughts will help me finding a good display solution.

As i see, you have only two display cabinets, and it may not be enough for beautiful displaying whole collection with stands.
I can advice you method used in iTunes - Coverflow.
Maybe it can cause some shadows in your situation, but it seems to be compact and beautiful at once (especially with using mirror ground).

I think two cabinets are enough with one extra shelf for each of them. And adding a 3rd cabinet is also possible. Displaying with stands will be like itunes coverflow. I need them for one reason. DVD cases and slim cd cases aren't suitable to be displayed in a perpendicular position.Nice idea.
