4000 college kids in Florida were tricked into re-registering Republican at a phoney address (and thus knocking out thier votes) when they thought they were signing a petition to legalize medical marijuana.

I think Bush's win owes a lot to these kinds of dirty tricks. I won't go so far as to accuse him of stealing the election though, because that seriously underestimates the Republican machine. But is this a "mandate to spend political capital?" I don't think so.

Well Bush is president. End of story. Lets hope our troops succeed in bringing law and order back to Fallujah. The Iraqi military is the one thats doing most of the work this time. So far so good :smt023
