I did... four more years of war!

Here's a thought, a psychic on the radio predicts we will go to war with Iran by Feburary if Bush wins.

Got my ballot turned in on Sunday (Oregon is a mail-only voting state.) :smt023

It's sad to see so many people that are so apathetic that they don't vote - I've talked to several people here who say they didn't or won't vote, and I just want to slap them upside the head. I don't care at all who they vote for, just as long as they vote period - we need to start having leaders elected as a result of people voting for them, not by default because so few people voted.

And thank God the annoying phone calls will stop now.

Voted this morning. If this election goes to the courts again, I'll have to kill something.

The Bush campaign is a persistant one. I saw like 20 kids standing in traffic this morning waving Bush pickets. I'm surprised they don't get run over in this state. (They should.)

Did any of you write in someone?

As for being unpopular with the world...I wish it wasn't the case but lets be honest....any countries leaders first obligation is to the safety and welfare of his own country...PERIOD.... everything else is secondary...none can deny this.

But not while encroaching on this country's democratic foundation and constitutional rights to choose science (progress!) over the president's religion.

The Patriot Act deficates on many of our given liberties such as simple privacy so as to intercept the terrorists.

Bush imposes his newfound Christian beliefs. He is morally opposed to some freedoms our country should be given so he gets to take them away in the name of Christianity. Because of his religion. So he alone gets to hinder abortion and stem cell research? Is he trying to "save" America? What happened to freedom of religion or lack thereof? This affects everyone who could care less about his creed. It hurts people and their principles that aren't morally opposed, people that advocate natural progression of the sciences.

IMHO Bush just wants to start another holy war. Kerry is no better. Both are members of the republicrats (you know that super party that CLAIMS to be seperate dispite being funded by the same companies and for many of the same issues). It truely is a sad day when we can't even get the remote chance of an independant. Even Reps. can't be independant because if they loose affiliation with a party, they risk loosing office. Some of them need the jobs so they do what the job demands, and THAT is a sick, sad fact. As for that god aweful Patriot act, I would like to accuse most of the government as terrorists and invade their privacy to see how they like it. Its a horrible clause. Sure its for security, but it defys the very reason this nation was founded. And Bush's whole gay marriage thing. If a preist is willing to wed two men or women, why should the government say no? Again he is infringing on religion with his own belifs. He calls for a seperate but equal clause (much like the days of segregation colored drinking fountains). But heres the thing, most benefits will only go for married couples. No where will it mention Civil Unions. So he should either Abolish government recognition of Marriage all together and make everyone get a civil union, or recognize gay marriages. Who is he to say who we can't marry, who we can love? Imagine if the roles were reversed, would you be very happy?
