hello can anyone tell me if there are any good artbooks for some of the games from my list below i know japanese game guide's are a good source but i really want a real artbook.

None that you've mentioned specifically, although I do have a Shenmue Project Berkely book thingy. No sketches though, which is what it sounds like you're looking for.

There is an issue of Game Side that does a spread on the whole Akumajo series. Not a lot of sketches, but they have a lot of the game covers in full page (well, it's a small book, but still nice) color, w/ no text on them.

I have the Xenogears artbook. It's got some awesome original drawings in it, and a few technical drawings to boot. Lots of cool story information too.

Cool sounds like a lot of people have some cool books i have 2 capcom books and i saw there is a cool book called undon crew's art of capcom worth just for the cover alone thanks for the info guys.

There is a good Famicom book I like from the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography exhibit, I recommend that if that counts as "art".

I hear ya, I paid $20 for my copy. Prices aside however, its still the best artbook I have seen.

as for ghouls'n ghosts, try to buy that PSone book version of capcom generation 2 [makai to kishi]. you will not just get a nice artbook for all three makaimuras but also the game disc with all 3 makaimuras on it.
