My hobbies, after leaving out the boring(?) technical stuff, are books (mostly hard scifi), obscure movies, papercraft, and the the occasional resin or plastic model - Can't be bothered to paint them most of the time though (that's why I prefer paper ones).

Wrenching on cars and hitting up the mountain roads. That never gets old. There is nothing more satisfying than doing a mountain run, finding something a little "off" with your car (or a friend's car), taking it home to make some adjustments then running again the same night and feel the differences.

Not bad, I wish I had a piano here. I just have a cheap Casio keyboard. As in really cheap, you cant play chords consisting of more than 5 notes, no keystroke dynamics, it is just a toy.

But my mother has got a piano, sounds quite good for its 90 years, survived the war somehow. Maybe I will record a video next time I am at her place.

Sadly it runs away with too much of my money. :crying:

Its not too bad if your willing to spend on decent kit in the first place, I guess part of what you have to think about before asking this question is what exactlly you want to keep, to keep the range of SPS, corals I keep and their requirements it gets quite pricey. If you want to just keep some softies, its not too expensive.

If you keep everything right, things grow in a few months and buying frags is a great way to build up a nice selection of corals.

Once youve done buying all the kit and some stock, the running costs aren't 'too' bad but its always a case of when you get hooked, you want more!

EDIT: don't know if I ever really got to the point above lol, sorry about that.

I don't know what the costs are like in Germany for such kit, but I expect probably alot less than in the UK as we get robbed from every angle possible. I believe live stock especially is much cheaper in the US.

I collect coins. I REALLY collect coins. I never put a single cent in my pocket with giving it the once over.

It is more a time consuming hobby than a money consuming one. I buy rolls from banks and pick out the good stuff. I also buy from ebay and coin shops, but coin dealers are not always the most honest people.

I have a 60%-75% set of US nickels from 1866-2004, which is my most worked on set, along with a lot of other stuff.

When I'm not gaming I like to take my nitro r/c car out for a few hours...this usually ends with me breaking something lol, for instance last weekend I was at a local field bashing about and some guy asked to see how fast it could go.... Got to about 30mph and one of the front wheels came off (my bad) the front then dug into the soft ground and the car flipped end over end for about 100 yards... Major breakage rofl

As well as crazy old French cars I also enjoy record collecting, have a substantial collection of vintage video equipment and cameras, and also what I believe to be the largest private collection of Royal Air Force badges and insignia in Europe :)

I also use a lot of my spare time volunteering as a graphic designer for charities and non-profit organisations.

Used to do Martial Arts for over a decade (12 years i think) Taekwondo and Wing Chun. These were the early years (10 to 21-22)

Now I have been lifting weights seriously for almost 10 years, did some 200-400m runs at some point also ...

Writing novels and poems is also something i got into back in 2000 when I was in the UK for a Bachelor Degree in Computing. I still write occasionally

Me? Well...I'm into picking up drifters, giving them a warm meal, letting them take a shower and while they are watching TV, stabbing them in the back and letting their blood baste my couch.

In all seriousness: I suppose extensive amounts of gardening as the season permits and the occasional bout of urban exploration. Much of the land around here comes at a very high premium and is in demand for vineyards so it is somewhat difficult to find any abandoned property where there is a building sitting on it that looks interesting. So far all I've really managed to find is an abandoned hay farm from the early 90s.

Hobbies out side of video games are a bit of game home-brewing, collecting comics (mostly DC), and I love working on cars, though at the moment I don't have a project car.

Also I love certain TV shows, Chuck, Top Gear, Star Trek, Stargate, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, and a couple of others.
