Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I used to love to draw, I don't do it as much now. One day I might buy a better "artists" desk or something, and have a nice big tablet for my PC with it.

As you may know, AWS is a friend of mine, and my first PC's parts were picked by me, someone who doesn't know much about computers, and AWS picked some parts for me for a new rig if I wanted to make another one.
As for my current PC, I'm going to sell it to my mom or something. She needs a PC that isn't a Hewlett Packard for some of the stuff she does.
I'm not doing this just for Crysis, that's just one of the perks to having a PC like that.

The reason I want a new PC is because I kinda cheaped out on some of my PC parts when I was first starting out, and its showing it badly, especially with my resolution. I don't want a res smaller than 1680 by 1050 right now, I LOVE my monitor. I also like to play games on their highest settings, kinda like how AWS does. Did you know that Oblivion can still push a PC at a 1680 by 1050 resolution, even with a GTX 260? My Ram and CPU may be holding me back a little, though.
And other perks would be more speed on programs, etc, stuff like that. Oh, and the PC's parts are part of a theme, red and black. The way stuff is set up, it looks like everything will come in a set.
I think thats nuts, but nothing wrong with it I guess. Just seems wierd since I think your computer is comparable to mine, thats a lot of money.

EDIT: I actually work out a fair amount these days, considering I have a kid and am now 34 fucking years old. I do enjoy cycling, especially now that the weather is getting nice, but it's usually just to get from A to B.

This may sound like a silly question, but is mountain biking popular in Japan and if so are there many good trails? I don't know much about the geography of Japan, but being a mountain biker in Arkansas I'm pretty hard to impress :P Seriously though, I think biking in another country would be pretty awesome.
Photography. I took one class in high school and have been hooked on it ever since.
I also enjoy working with video. Filming and editing. I just filmed an interview on Saturday for a local hip hop artist. My brother and I are going to be putting together a promo video for them. If they like it, it could lead to more projects such as music videos, filming concerts, etc.
I watch a lot of movies. I was recently called a movie snob by a coworker the other day because I'm picky about what I watch. And anytime someone asks me if I've seen a particular movie, that I haven't watched, I always reply, "I only watch good movies." Same goes for games.
Listening to music, making music, going to concerts. I've been to countless concerts. Living in Seattle helps. So yeah, there's a lot of things I enjoy doing besides gaming. It's just that gaming is so awesome right now, I can't help but do it the most.
You got a good location for that kind of stuff!

Thanks! This is why I want to upgrade my camera.
I'm currently using a Nikon D40x (one of the best starter cameras by the way...screw the D60 or D40) with a 18-105mm VR lens, however handheld the camera is a bitch to get level as there is no usable grid in the view finder.
Will probably pick up a D90 when I go back to Korea.
Good to see a lot of people here like photography. I've been into photography for about a year too and I'm desperately stryin to get better. Most of my decent shots aren't on my PC because I usually still shoot on film (I got an EOS 20D body which is nice, but I love my EOS 1V). I also don't like photoshopping on pictures, I'd rather have them as I've shot them.
I don't really have great pictures on this pc but I figured this one wasn't too bad:

Well, I do some programming (learning AJAX and improving my Javascript knowledge right now, I hope to start learning C++ soon), web design, 2D and 3D design (mostly 3D design in 3DSmax at this moment).
Anyway my most important hobby besides gaming is music. I don't have a great talent composing music so with the time I became more interested in synths and the sounds I can get from them. Sometimes I can spend hours and hours messing around with synths and effects in FL Studio and then using the instruments in a song or game tune.
I also want to get a drumset since long ago, the main issues are where to put it and what it costs (the few times I had the money to get a decent one I ended spending the money in other stuff). Hope to get it in some moment, this is one of my goals that I could not accomplish yet...

Nothing too exiting. Apart from trying to finish my degree and collecting & learning about denim and leather (mostly japanese).

If you get out of the city, yeah, I'm sure there are. I mean, shit, there's mountains everywhere. I think hiking is a lot more common though. :) I live right smack in the middle of the city. No trails that I'm aware of, but a few parks, and it's a very bicycle friendly place. I rode in this morning. Most Japanese people don't work until 9AM (I'm in at 8) so the roads are really empty. Going home is another story.
Having lived years here of being a slave to the train system and a shit job (didn't make enough money to take a $30 cab ride home after last train), I now like being able to go to those hard-to-reach places, and at any time I want. To me, that's half the joy of the bicycle life style here.
You probably wouldn't be impressed though. I rode in Austin quite a bit, which has some great trails. But hey, it's apples and oranges. A friend of mine is in a bicycle club. Every few Sundays they ride from Shinjuku to Odaiba, drink beer for a couple of hours, then ride back.

A lot of times my horizons aren't level out of the camera as well, this is a simple fix in editing :) Programs like lightroom make it second nature, but the "free transform" tool in photoshop works like a charm too.
If you only have one lens, your money would be better spent on more lenses. Pick up a Nikkor 50mm F/1.8 lens and enjoy. :)
Matthijscoman, I have an EOS 1N in addition to my 5D mark II and I love shooting black&white film. Film can definitely still be fun in the digital world. I'd love to see some scans when you have the chance!
