Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Dead Horse edition

Adds........ a sonic fart for Balrog and 3 frames of delay with Cammy.
The Shoryuken Fireball launch from Rainbow edition is also added

    Yeah........

I hope SF IV isn't beaten half to death It's fine as it is. Just jump right to SF V

SF IV might as well be called Super Street Fighter II 2.5D HDTV Hyper Turbo Casual Gamer Mega Sick Wicked Edition for all the originality it has.

I see IV more of a successful return to basics, trimming out the excessive bloat of the Alpha series like different styles and bringing back the old iconic characters - SFIII's cast ranged from boring to flat out ridiculous. Although Seth reminds me a little too much of III's stupid boss designs.

That still doesn't alter the fact that the game could have been called SF2 something or other, SF1, SF2, SF Zero and SF3 are all very different with each game only having ken and ryu with a smattering of characters from other games.

Street Fighter IV is everything I wanted III to be. Sans the female Bison.

SFIII was actually very good. However I only had one friend at the time who was interested in learning and trying to get good. Also it was on the dreamcast and they had a "pre" version that was later replaced. I don't remember the name now, but neiterh of those things helped to make it popular.

I think the online capacity will make it quite a bit more popular (especially if the PC version out). Although after SFII tournament ed. my next favorite versions is SF Alpha III which was online on the dreamcast and Saturn and SNK vS Capcom II.

I would still like to see SFZero 4 with Hagar and some more Final Fight bosses.

IMHO after SF2:CE it all started going down hill. Up to that point, the games were fun for casual/hardcore alike. With Alpha *shudder* and SFIII *um huh?* things just started getting too complicated.

Good to hear SFIV is getting back to being fun.

Eventhough Street Fighter 2's characters are more memorable, I think I would rather play Street Fighter 3 instead, because I don't think SF2 aged very well.

And yeah, the arcade market didn't exist in the same capacity it did during the SFII days, ever again.

I've never really heard anyone say they think it's "SF in name only" :katamari:
I'd agree with you if SFIII was a SHMUP or something.
well I think MOST people who liked SF2....never even played the first SF. So ALL the characters were new.

and i love 3. When I first saw it I shit bricks.

III did have amazing animation which I'm surprised they didn't even attempt to replicate in 3d for IV.

Just a different style I guess. I think they are both great in their own ways.

Pixelated Sprites will always be better.
