Got this mail from Paypal today

Dear Japan Direct,

Recently, the PayPal site had technology issues that may have hindered your ability to conduct business using PayPal.

To show our appreciation for your continued business, we're going to credit you for PayPal transaction fees incurred on October 28, 2004, between 12:00:00 AM PDT and 11:59:59 PM PDT.†

You don't need to do anything to receive your credit. We'll add up the transaction fees you accumulate, and send a credit to your PayPal account by November 25, 2004.

Looks like I'll be getting a bit of much needed cash back from them :smt023

No, that was the date they f*cked up the service big time. I made about 4 or 5 transactions on that day.

I got the email too. I'm really not sure what, if anything, happened. I can't recall any problems w/ PayPal lately

I got that email and that day could not have had any problems because TODAY is that day. Thats just saying if you have a fee for collecting money from someone today or transfering money, they will refund them at a later date for you. Normally thats not a large amount but you never know, someone may do alot of of pay paling and wll greatly benefit from it : ).
