Yeah, those stars everywhere are annoying. They're supposed to denote when someone thinks a thread is particularly good. Granted, most people don't use the system, which means the board is nice and star free most of the time! Seeing them all now, it does look kinda cluttered. It would be nice to reset them!!

Well I can imagine its a preregistered account used by the bot later on to crawl the site. Once you get approved, you can do whatever you want with your credentials.

Crawlers are amazing.
