    Earthbound 3 Scan

Well i came across my old gamepro from 1999 and i saw some earthbound 3 screens. I have not seen these here yet so I scanned it. It is very large about 3mb and i didn't downsize it.

It's nice to see the full page scan though since the starmen screens are cropped out and water marked by places like ign on a few. Any EB64 stuff is good in my book.

Being a rabid fan of the series I'll take this chance to say...after reading the translated interview conducted with Itoi by Nintendo Dream magazine, him mentioning EB64 following a much darker tone (parts of which were deemed to depressing by Itoi to have reused in Mother 3) makes me even more curious about it.

Here's the link to the interview if anyone's interested. http://mother3.fobby.net/interview/

Just to warn you, I wouldn't recommended reading it if you haven't finished Mother 3 since it contains alot of spoilers.

Why am I more surprised than I should be that those Majora's Mask screens at the top are identical to the finished version (as far as I can tell) and it hadn't even been given a name at the time?

But then, GamePro was always bad with names. :P

All they would need is ten nuclear weapons in the kiloton range, disguised as Girl Scouts.

That middileish shot in the rain... makes me think this game was going to have been an amazing storyteller. Well, obviously it probably was, but I think even moreso than I ever thought about.
