Started working on one today for my Naomi Universal (actual file larger of course)
Can adjust it and such too :P Need to pick up a marquee holder sometime heh
Borman, I saw your AO thread on this. Nice work! Planning on producing any more of these?
Do you have a decent poster printer lol
Well, there was someone on AO that was talking about obtaining a few of those plastic Naomi marquee holders. Not sure whether you noticed or not. He was a bit expensive though - £50.00 - brand new!
I shall look out for you over on this side of the pond as it's a European unit you have if I remember rightly!
As for the artwork, you'd probably do a roaring trade in putting together marquees if you could establish a good quality printer who could run off small print runs of popular titles like Virtua Fighter and the like.
Most people also appear to fold them up when posting them, instead of using poster rolls - duh! They aren't hard to obtain or expensive either, but for some reason loads of people complain about how hard it is to send artwork through the post and charge silly prices!
Yeah, they look excellent! I've got to make a marquee for the new Initial D cabinet. It is missing the attract art. Luckily, I have managed to obtain brand new side art L/R and the base artwork as the entire thing is needing a respray, but the marquee is unique in design. Not your usual Naomi :-(Originally Posted by Borman
I am trying to obtain a file of the artwork for that.

The only images I can find of it are pretty small and available also on System 16. Find here: http://www.system16.com/hardware.php...&gid=2204#2204Originally Posted by Borman
Look in 'Deluxe' or 'Standard' cabinet link. I am still looking elsewhere for better images.
No, but I can measure the top of the cab once it arrives. Then guess at the height.Originally Posted by Borman
I get the impression that the base is the same width as a normal Sega Naomi marquee as the monitor is a Pan 29" - I specifically asked as I needed a 31Khz monitor in good condition.
