@arnoldlayne: Dreamcast History Forums are now back online: http://www.dreamcasthistory2.com/
There's not much activity since the page is back online so it would be great if you visit it and do some postings.
The Custom DC is really hard to find! But i'm sure i'll get one again - it's just a matter of time, money and luck.

Thanks for all your good wishes and help - i'll post my progress with new pictures. I'm also working on a small DC collectors website at the moment.

I think you did the right thing - it can be hard to let things go, but at the end of the day they are material possessions - true. Family comes first and all that.

I'm glad to see you're back on track and getting into the collecting biz again - yours was most spectacular and it was sad to see you have to give it up.

Are you going to get a Divers? That's one gorgeous bit of kit!!

I never had a Divers - those delivery costs are really a pain. And there's the problem with my wife if consoles take too much space ...
    :-)

But one day i might go for a Divers. A Sega Naomi cabinet is also one of the wishes i have for the future - but we've to look for a new home to get this realised.

    And a Maziora!
That's already a VERY nice start :O If you keep up this speed I guess you'll have recouvered your DC collection pretty fast, except for the airbrush DCs maybe. They are probably all strongly chained in some collectors shelves now!?
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

Within 1 month of starting this thread you had a stars dreamcast (200 released). Thats quite an acheivement.
I'd heard of and seen pics of some of these variations (stars, R7, hello kitty, etc) but had never seen a Maziora. I googled it and came up with a link to this site www.dreamcastgallery.com where (as a dreamcast game fan who has never really looked much into the hardware) i was shocked by the number of variations...crazy.
Question for Ground Zero, are you going for all variations or just the rare "special" editions?
