Halo 2 has been unleashed on the world 28 days early! A french language (with english/spanish etc. subtitles) was leaked onto peer-to-peer and user groups.....microsoft is going to be mad! :smt043

Thing is this version is useless unless u just want single player...

Well i dont think the norm person will bother with a 4 gig download and not being able to play live. It wont effect the whole thing much apart from alll those details that bungie tried to keep from us are coming out!!

I've got a pre-order going for the limited edition metal box with bonus dvd, i want the game for x-box live, the singleplayer doesn't interrest me much as it's just a polished up halo1 with some new enemies and another story.

I can't wait to get it and go on live in 16 player multiplayer mayhem :-D

From the videos it looks much diferent on single player and it loooks like its going to be amazing! i know i cant wait. I wanna play it now!!

I also got the pre order for the metal box. However i was dissapointed to find out the other day when i saw one that its a dvd case in some sort of flaky metal rather then a box...

Yeah, the metal box is more of a DVD tin - they have some of the cases at the local gamestores.

You can bet heads are going to roll in Microsoft/Bungie if they ever catch the person responsible. They might even pansy out like Valve and say, "Oh, now we have to delay the game for another year(s) because of this..." :smt043

Good lord, I always hate it when people leak the game months before it comes out...

One request, though: If you know any of the story plots, or other things we wern't suspose to know about, at least warn before hand. I always hate it when I find out vital plots about a story just because someone randomly blurted it out (In terms of leaked games)

Yeah, no spoilers from anyone who chooses to participate in a download- I don't care really too much about Halo 2, but I know how irritating it is to have someone ruin a game you haven't got to play yet.

Anyone know where I can buy a valid EEPROM for my JPN Xbox? I want to play on US Live. I've got a mod chip, so in theory, can do it... just need the prom.

as long as your mod chip is turned off and HDD is the original one you shouldn't have any issue to log onto US XLIVE... Not sure whether US XLIVE has since updated again but a lot of Aussie Xbox users used US XLIVE unofficially...

from memory we had to come up with US address and post code but other than that there wasn't any issue... again things could've been changed now XLIVE is available in AU...

I do have couple of PAL Xbox motherboards - don't ask me where I got these :p - but no idea how to pull off EEPROM data...

It won't be delayed like HL2. The game has already gone gold.

That drives me nuts about some movie DVD's. They slap on special edition on the cover when it's the only edition they release.

arent you talking about the TSOP? or something like that... i saw something about a website selling TSOP's of broken xboxes for people who got banned from xbox live..., i think it was on xbox-scene.com

Here in holland they really are limited, only gameshops get them and they only get 5 copies per store.
