I bought mine recently and I must say, PSO Plus, here I come too, but only after the 24th Dec.
Good call. I'm definitely going to pick up a cube again soon. Easily one of my happiest gaming times, Rogue Leader, Windwaker, Pikmin, Mario Sunshine, need I go on?

This version is basically the same as the previous release, although it features quite a few online quests, now offline available, as well as other fixes.

The best game I have on the cude is Zelda twilight princess. I played it befor the Wii version and still think its better on a real joypad.
The gamecube has become a great little system, with most retailers shunning it the price of the system is really low. I recently bought 6 boxed units for only £40. Another £10 per unit for a full size case and chip, and all my friends are happy.
where did you get 6 boxed units for 40 pounds mate?

lmao, that's an insane price for so many boxed consoles...
I'm amazed how cheap they have become. Most retailers here have them for $29.99 CND new, and can't move the stock. Some of the very best games I played of that console generation were on the GameCube and I'm glad others are enjoying the console as well. Some of the more cherished titled sell for more than the console itself these days!
Well Assembler,
It looks like I created a tornado on this thread just by buying a cube, WoW!
Thanks people for all the input here specially input on the pso, nice work!
I now know alittle bit more about consoles. :love2:
Ya, I consider the cube a nicely well build console and its most likely quite interesting piece inside. It would be interest tinking with homebrew with it but I don't know weather I will cause I'am already going to be tinking really soon with my psp. I can only do so much at a time.
I picked it up for $10.
I don't know weather I'll go inside it at all but Oh Well! Guess we'll wait & see on that matter.
Again people thanks for the interesting posts!

Just a local second hand shop, he's got about 40 cubes in total - i just buy the boxed ones off him. I get a good discount as i sort he's pc stuff for him.Originally Posted by Barc0de

That's an absurdly cheap price for boxed Gamecubes, if they're all in new condition. In five years or so they'll be worth £40+ at least I'd imagine. Boxed/new units always retain a good price.
The Cube was responsible for probably my happiest times out of the last gen, too. Lovely hardware and a lot of really excellent titles. It's a really underrated bit of kit, in my opinion.
The GC is a really great system and had it been given more of a chance could have really competed more with the Xbox and PS2 since it was just as good as them. To be honest i prefer my gamecube over a PS2/Xbox.Originally Posted by Alchy
Its a shame it wasn't as popular as it could be but they are really cheap right now and defiantly worth anyone getting.
Just won a cube on fleabay for £9...looking forward to its arrival. It comes with two mystery games...hope they're something good.
