Has anybody checked out Shadow Assault Tenchu on XBLA?

Came out under the radar and it's VERY much like bomberman/The Adventures of Lolo.

Meaning it's.....actually good.

I haven't played this yet. But the reviews are all pretty bad.
Aren't they porting the original Tenchu to XBLA soon as well?

yeah I don't think From Software paid the protection money for a good review.

I think it's decent.

Frame Gride was fucking awesome.

Otogi 1 and 2 were also fucking awesome.

I liked Armored Core 4 a lot as well since the mechs could finally actually move at a decent speed. I assume Armored Core For Answer is also quite good.

So... yes, they made 4 good games. Enchanted Arms was fairly mediocre.

I actually like it.
There are some levels with elements of Lolo and Sokoban in the game in which you have only one way of solving correctly...one wrong move or mistake and it's game over.

I like that sort of thing. We don't see enough of it these days.

Kings Field is ugly but I think the first 3 were fairly good.

Yeah, I forgot about this. I think all the Armored Cores are crap, and Murakumo was a pretty large steaming pile as well. Never tried Otogi.

I don't know if you played Armored Core 4, but it really is a lot better than the other entries. Its a lot faster and more fluid.

Regardless, I'd still say their high points are Frame Gride and the two Otogi games. Didn't they make Metal Wolf Chaos as well? If so, then I hear thats REALLY good.

Why Otogi 1 and 2 aren't BC on 360 is a horrible crime. They are truely amazing titles and really showed off what the XBOX could do.

Yeah... I'm going to have to buy an original Xbox at some point (and get it modded for Metal Wolf Chaos) so I can play the Otogi games, Toejam and Earl III, Steel Battalion, and um... Metal Wolf Chaos on it.

Maybe Blood Wake and Kung Fu Chaos as well. I liked those games.
