    Akklaims Extreme-G

Does anybody know who currently owns the rights to the title "Extreme-G" from Akklaim for Nintendo 64?

You can ask for any old woman
You can ask for an army of ants
You can ask for a pillar of poison

Throwback Entertainment has the rights to Extreme G as seen on their website http://www.throwbackentertainment.com/

i am not sure if we will see an next generation version but it would be good unless it turned out to be like the GC, Xbox and PS2 version which i do/did not like very much.

the franchise holds much potential if put in the right hands. it has more precise controls than Wipeout and is more cyberpunk than F-zero in some ways. The "deafening" effect in XG2 when you hit a certain speed was a wonderful and nice addition too.

I love this franchise. The first will always be my favorite, but I too loved the sonic boom effect and the overall design of the third one.
