Anybody have any specs on the not very loved genesis 3, does it work with anything else, like the 32x, or mega cd... RGB capable, 50/60 herts mod.. cant seem to find much info.. or is it just too crap..:lol:

The Genesis 3 is not 32x compaible. Have tested this myself.
It will play at 60hz.
Find a VA4 MD2, it is same as Genny3 (same system ASIC), but with all things intact.

Doesn't work with the Power Base Converter, either. Swap to a multimega/CDX, they're way better :)

yeah it is missing some circuitry that the 32x requires
Thanx for all the replys.. shame it doesnt work with the 32x.. considered it for making a neptune.. oh well:-(
it would work with everything, you just have to connecto some lines to cartslot that aren't connected (all come from some of the unused ASIC pins). same for MCD connector... the ASIC used is same as in MD2 VA4, which has all 32X and MCD support, only thing different is that all pins are connected to where they need to be.
