Expanding image size

Hi, I'm not even sure if this only concerns PS games...

I want to add 2000-10000 sectors padded with 0s to my PSX game image, but I have no idea how.
I have a tool to create new files by assigning them sectors and could use them as I wish but I seriously have no idea how to safely expand my Image.
Any Tips?

I also wondered if there were tools to accomplish this.

if you havent figured it out yet....you can just open up your favorite hex editor and create a new file named whatever you want and add it to your image.

I like winhex.
and if you google around you can find some iso handling apps specifically for the images your trying to mess with.
